This ongoing Partner-led event provides a space to explore impact investing more broadly and more personally as a complement to the Impact Investing Working Group’s activities. Our guest will be Andy Behar, the founder and CEO of As You Sow, the nation’s non-profit leader in shareholder advocacy. Andy will discuss how easy and impactful it is to authorize shareholder activists like As you Sow to file shareholder resolutions on your behalf, and to pledge your public equities’ proxies to create lasting change that benefits people, planet, and profit. Andy will also show us how to see the individual holdings of our mutual funds with grades for fossil fuels, deforestation, gender equity, etc…, and performance of our funds v. benchmarks. This is a follow on session to January’s Investing in Climate Solutions session and is probably the single easiest thing we can all do to align our investments with our values. As always, we will have time in the second half of the session to discuss what we are excited about, what is holding us back and what we see as our own next steps.
